The Altitude agency was founded in 1990 by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, author of “The Earth from Above”.
The aim was to create an agency specialising in aerial photography, the only one of its kind to date.
Altitude has reached international fame for the diversity and quality of its photographic documents.
Ninety photographers from all over the world have joined the agency. We are committed to collect in a single database the best aerial views worldwide.
To date, our collection covers about a hundred different countries through 350 000 selected images, and is enriched daily by new additions.
Altitude’s purpose is to transfer the rights of use and representation for these photographs to professionals in advertising, publishing and the press.
